Materials:
- MDF or wooden frame

cast acrylic - acrylic paint in colors you prefer
- flat brush or cat's tongue (the size is in proportion to the size of "patches", say a medium)
- thin brush to paint the seams
- angular brush for shading
- mop brush or stencil brush to smudge small
After
sanded the frame, past a couple of coats of gesso
when dry, we begin to paint the first rectangle which will then become our "patches". The rectangles will be the size you want, certainly if they are too small will not make much. Try to paint the edges of the frame.
When you are finished, work will look something like this. As you can see the pieces have different shapes and sizes, I also made in the shape of "L" and even two almost triangular corners. It will be your imagination to guide her hand
spend hours to decorate our "stoffine. Even here you give free rein to the imagination: dots, stars, Scottish, flowers, stripes, uni ... in short, what you like. now "sew" our pieces using fine brush and a dark color (umber): Point strand, crocettine points diagonally ... you can do it all the same or all different, as you like ...

the brush dipped in a corner and after a little 'ONLY remove excess water in the part closest to the ring, and not on the tip, so
dip the tip of the brush in a peanut color
pass the brush on our plate with short stretches well to distribute color on the bristles.
Now I will show, on a white sheet so you do not get confused with the fantasy of the frame, as do the shading. Draw a line along the side of the patch (again here is on a white sheet) and blotted immediately with a brush or mop with a stencil brush to the part of the gradient
When you execute the shading on the frame, if the first stroke of the brush the shadow does not convince you can review.
When you're done and the work will dry shade past two coats of protective paint to water. I use the mat on the coutry, but you can be anything you like.
